Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented professional passionate about co=unity engagement? We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic cooperative environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative setting and is eager to support the day-to-day operations of our co-op while fostering strong relationships with members and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Manager, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with co-op bylaws and policies
  • Prepare and maintain corporate records, member files, and financial documents
  • Assist with board and member meetings, including issuing notices and preparing reports.
  • Manage financial tasks such as processing deposits, collecting housing charges
  • Issuing approved notices to members
  • Coordinate maintenance work orders and handle member inquiries with professionalism.
  • Maintain office systems, including record-keeping, inventory control, and member communications.
  • Foster a welcoming and professional office environment for members and visitors

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a co-op or non-profit setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and record-keeping systems
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently under supervision
  • A collaborative spirit and commitment to community values
