ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW:
Founded in 1988, ONPHA is an independent association funded and directed by its members, representing more than 700 of Ontario’s non-profit housing providers. From Windsor to Cornwall, Toronto to Thunder Bay, our members house more than 400,000 people in 163,000 homes across 220 Ontario communities. They are a critical part of the fabric of every community and provide decent, affordable homes to low and moderate income households. Many of our members provide specialized housing and support services for Ontarians who need help to enjoy a successful tenancy.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
The overall job functions of this position are to work with a small team to:
• Research, design, write, edit and maintain instructor-led, in-person and e-learning courses/tutorials, webinars, user guides, web-based resources, quick reference guides, job aids and other learning, support and informational materials for member and general audiences on a range of topics specific to non-profit housing
• Plan, development, moderate and/or deliver in-person courses, regional meetings, webinars, conference sessions and networking events

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree/diploma/certification in adult education, e-learning or relevant field
• Non-profit housing and/or association background
• Experience in instructional design and/or education training
• Demonstrated ability managing projects, group facilitation, consultation and presentations
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Familiarity with on-line learning environment (i.e. Moodle)
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience/understanding of non-profit housing including related legislation preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate all aspects of course/project administration
• Research, design, write, edit and maintain instructor-led, in-person and e-learning courses/tutorials, webinars, user guides, web-based resources, quick reference guides, job aids and other learning, support and informational materials for member and general audiences on a range of topics specific to non-profit housing
• Participate in program planning, development, moderation and/or delivery of in-person courses, regional meetings, webinars and conference sessions and networking events
• Project-manage products and services development through the creation and oversight of work plans, timelines and budget
• Trouble shoot learning management system (LMS) issues and/or liaise with hosting and development providers to ensure smooth delivery of e-learning services and related quizzes
• Design and evaluate training curricula including flexible, member and medium specific training options
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth function of projects, department and organization
• Assist in the development of marketing material for education products and services

Position Type:
This is a full-time permanent position subject to a 3-month probation period.

Salary:
Salary range for this position is $60,000 – $67,000 plus benefits and a generous vacation package.
